Conflict of Interest Policy
CrypTocker publishes financial journalism covering digital assets, equities, companies, artificial intelligence, macroeconomics and regulation. This policy explains how the newsroom handles financial interests and outside relationships that could affect editorial independence.
Personal financial interests
Writers and editors should disclose relevant financial interests that could reasonably create a conflict with a story they cover. Staff should not use unpublished editorial information for personal trading or financial gain.
Gifts, payments and incentives
Editorial coverage should not be influenced by gifts, token allocations, payments, travel, services or other incentives from companies, projects, exchanges or individuals covered by CrypTocker. Material relationships relevant to a story should be disclosed to editors.
Sponsored and commercial content
Sponsored material must be clearly labeled and kept separate from independent newsroom coverage. Advertisers and commercial partners do not receive control over independent editorial conclusions.
Affiliate relationships
When CrypTocker uses affiliate links or receives compensation tied to a commercial relationship, the relationship should be disclosed where readers can reasonably see it.
Corrections and questions
Readers who believe an undisclosed conflict affected CrypTocker coverage can contact the newsroom through the site’s Contact page. Material errors are handled under the Corrections Policy.
