CrypTocker may use artificial intelligence tools to support newsroom production, but editorial responsibility remains with CrypTocker.

Permitted uses

AI tools may assist with research organization, transcription, document review, formatting, editing, data processing, headline development and production workflows.

Verification

AI output is not treated as a primary source. Material factual claims, quotations, dates, prices, legal statements and financial figures should be checked against identifiable sources before publication.

Editorial responsibility

Editors and writers remain responsible for published material. AI systems do not receive bylines.

Images and media

When AI-generated or materially AI-altered imagery could mislead readers about a real event or person, CrypTocker should identify the image as an illustration or otherwise provide clear context.

Corrections

Errors remain subject to the Corrections Policy regardless of the tools used during production.
