CrypTocker aims to correct material factual errors promptly and transparently.

How corrections work

Editors review correction requests against the article’s sources and available records. When a published fact is materially wrong, CrypTocker updates the article and adds a correction or update note when the correction affects the reader’s understanding of the story.

Minor edits

Grammar, spelling, formatting and other edits that do not alter the substance of a story may be corrected without a separate notice.

Updates

Developing stories may receive new information after publication. Material additions should be reflected in the article’s updated timestamp when appropriate.

Readers can submit a correction through the CrypTocker contact page. Please identify the article, disputed statement and supporting source.
