Bitcoin price has continued to stay in the green and traded above the brief $86,000 resistance, with investors evaluating the potential next move of the flagship crypto. Amid this, a renowned analyst has cited key factors that might drive the BTC price towards the much-anticipated $100K level.

Notably, the analyst has cited the soaring US Spot Bitcoin ETF inflow and other technical trends as potential catalysts behind the expected rally. So, here we explore the key reasons that might help BTC reclaim the six-digit number in the near future.

Bitcoin Price to $100K? Here’s the Key Factors to Watch

BTC price was marginally up today in the 24-hour timeframe and traded above the $86,200 mark at the time of writing. Notably, the crypto has touched a 24-hour high of $87,363, while recording a double-digit gain of 14% over the past week.

The surge in the Bitcoin price could be attributed to the soaring institutional interest in the asset. For context, the US Spot Bitcoin ETF has recorded an inflow of $999 million on September 21, with BlackRock’s IBIT alone contributing $381.4 million.

Meanwhile, the overall inflow over the past three sessions into the Spot Bitcoin ETF was recorded at over $1.59 billion, Farside Investors’ data showed. This suggests that the institutions are regaining confidence in the long-term trajectory of the asset.

Simultaneously, the Bitcoin network has continued to witness increased network activity this week. According to market analyst Ali Martinez, the Bitcoin network has recorded over 2,722 transactions on September 21, each worth more than $1 million.

Analyst Hints at BTC Rally to $100K

Amid the soaring optimism among market participants, analyst Ali Martinez has further fueled discussions, predicting a potential rally to $100k. Apart from the soaring Bitcoin ETF inflow and network activity, he has also highlighted the technical and on-chain data supporting his call.

In a recent X post, Martinez highlighted $84,569 as a critical support zone for Bitcoin price, noting that nearly 600,000 BTC were previously traded around this level. A second major demand area is positioned near $77,000, potentially providing another layer of support if selling pressure intensifies.

However, BTC’s overhead resistance appears comparatively thin, according to Martinez. The next significant URPD resistance level is around $104,765, where approximately 283,000 BTC changed hands.

In addition, the analyst pointed to Bitcoin’s MVRV Pricing Bands, which show the mean band near $100,670 as another key resistance level. At the same time, the -0.5 band around $74,361 represents a major downside support zone.

So, with the soaring Bitcoin ETF inflow and sustained demand from retail traders, Martinez said that a Bitcoin price rally to $100k looks feasible now. However, investors should exercise due diligence, given the volatile nature of digital assets.
